Squish joined an after school soccer camp that met after school for 4 Thursdays in April. He really likes soccer but the draw of video games and legos is also strong. He won the"caring" award for his class in April too. We had open house nights at both schools, picture days, and park play days each Tuesday. I got to go with Squish's 1st grade class to the LA Zoo for a field trip.
Mr. W was in a Track Meet where he took 1st place for the 100 meter dash. The school


We were sad to lose Brother Bob Jimenez in April, and we miss him.
Mike and I saw Phantom of the Opera at the Orange County Performing Arts Center and the boys slept over at Mayme and Pop's house.
Squish was chosen to represent his school on the 26th at the district science fair and so he and I spent the day admiring other students projects and wading through groups of would be scientists. That same day, the 26th we were able to go see Amanda in a show. She does an amazing job and sings very well. Her high school has a professional group of budding stars and they all looked like they had a really good time.
