I was on TV!

I was on TV! I'm in the interview, and then it's my blue and black ticket that is shown. How funny huh?
The website if you want to watch is:

the news reporter didn't know anything about Twilight so my friend Mandy and I walked around and "taught" him about the books and movies. It was a fun experience, even thought I'm a little embarrassed about what I said. (What I said was fine, it just wasn't great. LOL) And I love how the gals back in the newsroom slam us for being older than 13-30, but WHATEVER!!!!
Anyway, I wanted to share....

Just a brief "Hello!"

Hi Friends,
Not a lot to report going on, Mike's dad had a heath scare about 2 weeks ago so Mike flew out to be with him and his Mom in Texas. Jerry seems to be doing better, and Mike is now back home, but it made for a scary week! We're getting ready for another road trip, and I'm really looking forward to the New Moon DVD release! (Yes, I'm such a geek, but I don't care. *grin*) I'm going to a Twilight Convention this weekend, that should be really neat. Some of the stars from the movies will be there and we have tickets to meet them all. I feel kind of strange about that. Living in CA all of my life I've seen movie stars "around" and I've never gone up to one of them and asked for an autograph or talked to them. I figure they're trying to have a life and so I leave them alone. So it seems odd to me to walk up to them and ask them to sign something, but whatever, when in Rome I suppose!
February flew by, along with lots of good intentions to get some sewing and family history projects started. I really do want to get back to the family history Mom and Kathy! (Sorry it's taking me so long!) I've got my sewing machine out today, we'll see what gets completed! I posted a picture of my boys I took for Valentine's day, but in the excitement of planning our Cub Blue and Gold dinner this is my first chance to post it. For Valentine's day we took the boys and one of our friend's daughters to Boomers for some Mini-golf madness. It was really fun, and so great to have a GIRL along! I love my boys, but girls are very different! (Thank goodness! *grin*) And thanks to Mandy and Trevor for loaning her to us!
